Raden was 4 years old when we met him. He was incredibly sick and when he first started taking treatment he did begin to get better. But he then succumbed to complications from AIDS. He died. His mother doesn’t understand what happened. She has now lost two children and is worried about how she will look after her other six.
This is a reminder that HIV/AIDS is a multifaceted issue and there is no cure. Still, ARV treatment gives people a chance at life if they are able
