(RED) money supports vital public health services in six countries: Ghana, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland and Zambia. The money is used to support Global Fund HIV/AIDS grants that focus on awareness building, education, HIV testing and counseling, antiretroviral (ARV) treatment, and the prevention of mother to child transmission. Each country determines the exact needs of their country and how the money will be used. All programs are reviewed and measured for success.
