With nearly 6 million people living with HIV, South Africa has the largest HIV positive population in the world. (RED) funds support Global Fund grants in South Africa that complement the country’s national response to the AIDS epidemic. This includes programs to reduce the rate of new HIV infections and reduce the impact of the disease on individuals, family and society.
