According to UNAIDS, Lesotho has the world's third highest HIV prevalence rate at 23.2%. Women and children remain at the epicenter of the epidemic in Lesotho. Thanks in part to the Global Fund and (RED), there are currently more than 45,000 people on antiretroviral treatment in Lesotho. HIV and AIDS care and services continue to expand.
