You can now watch "The Lazarus Effect" film, by director Lance Bangs & executive producer Spike Jonze, on YouTube and HBO. The 30 minute documentary illustrates the transformative effect of life-saving antiretroviral medicine through stories of HIV+ people in Zambia, including Concillia Muhua, a 27 year old mother of one. Thanks to access to ARV medicine – 2 life-saving pills that cost around 40 cents a day – Concillia was brought back from near death to health after being on treatment for just 90 days. On her condition before taking medication Concillia said “there was nothing I could do for myself. I could not feed myself properly. I could not look after my daughter. After I started medication it was like I was resurrected.”
