On World AIDS Day, Bono appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show for the very first time to talk with Ellen about her new role as a Special Envoy for Global AIDS Awareness and the progress that has been made in the fight against HIV/AIDS. As the world is at a critical moment in this fight, Bono discusses the beginning of the end of AIDS and states "it's such great news to be able to say that the end of AIDS...is in sight".
