Today, more than 8 million people in need are able to access antiretroviral treatment, up from just 300,000 in 2002 and up from 6.6 million in 2010.
(RED) and the global health community are fighting for an AIDS FREE GENERATION. Today we see continued progress to this goal. In 2010, over 1,000 babies were born every day with HIV. In 2011, that number was down to just over 900. By 2015, it can be near zero. Get the full UNAIDS report data here and learn more about the latest results here.
